Antitrust
Christensen Associates’ litigation consulting practice began with the AT&T antitrust cases of the 1970s and 1980s. Our foundation in applied microeconomic theory provided the bedrock for our analyses in those cases, just as it does for our current work. Examples of more recent cases include Animation Workers, Broiler Chicken, and E-books. What has changed over the last four decades is the frequent requirement to analyze millions or billions of transactions in a single antitrust analysis. Our team has the tools and experience to efficiently extract defensible conclusions from massive data sets. We have calculated damages in numerous international price-fixing cases such as DRAM, LCD, and Optical Disk Drives. We also have expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and have analyzed issues such as market power and the relevant market in many types of disputes.
